Rules

This trail is designed to be an outlet for people who love to fish. It is also intended to be affordable enough for those who have always wanted to fish tournaments, have just begun to fish tournaments, or just refuse to pay $200 in order to fish a tournament. It is meant to be an avenue to meet and learn from others who share your love for competitive bass fishing. There will be no $25,000 purses or shiny new bass boats given away, but neither of these are as good as the look on your buddies face when you pull that 8lb.'er out of your live well. So call up a buddy, tell him to grab a $20 bill, and meet you at lake.

RULES AND PAYOUT STRUCTURE

Tournaments cost $30 per boat (one or two fishermen) plus $5 per fisherman for big fish. All entry fees are cash only.
There will be a one time $20 membership fee that will go towards The Classicpot. Fee must be paid before fishing first tournament.
$20 per boat goes to the winner(s) and $10 per boat goes toward The Classic pot.
100% of big fish money will be paid out at each tournament. Fish must be alive to qualify for big fish prize.
The boat with the best five fish limit wins. A tie will be broken by big fish.
Tournament payout 1-9 boats 1 place, 10 - 14 boats 2 places 15 and up 3 places.

Each dead fish weighed in will result in a 0.5lbs  penalty.
Short fish brought back to weigh-in will result in loss of your big fish.
Late to weigh in penalties- 1 to 5 minutes- 1lb., 6 to 10 minutes- big fish, over 10 minutes- Disqualification
No live bait and no trolling.
You may fish as many or as few tournaments as you would like.
Each fisherman will get credit for their boats catch to count toward qualifying for The Classic. These weights will accumulate throughout the season.
The Classic will consist of an eight boat field. The fisherman with the top weight will be given the opportunity to pick a (willing) partner. The number two
fisherman will follow, and so on until we have an eight boat field. Anyone who qualifies may choose to fish alone. All partners must have fished at least
one tournament during the season. The Classic will pay three places.
All times are eastern standard (GA time)
Sign up will be at the ramp. Everyone should arrive early, because about ten minutes before we blast off, I will be heading for my boat and sign-up will be over.
Some sites and the structure of payout are subject to change based on turnout and pending permits. I will be updating everyone via website, so be sure you check it before heading to the ramp. Any disputes that may arise will be decided by tournament director.
